Focus

Chrome extensions · Data recovery · Browser tests

I developed eight local Chrome-extension prototypes for recurring tasks in source capture, tables, replies, links, metadata and screenshot redaction.

The work, in brief

Eight prototypes for controlled local testing. They are not yet released or monetised, and real-user demand has not been established.

01

Start with a specific task

Each prototype centres on one task rather than putting every capability into one panel.

PrototypeTask
TableLiftExtract web tables
SourceClipSave source-backed excerpts
ReplyKitManage reusable replies
LinkLedgerOrganise and audit links
SheetPrepPrepare CSV data
MetaPeekInspect page metadata
CampaignLintValidate campaign links
ScreenShieldRedact screenshots

02

Check the output, not just the interface

I added concurrent-storage safeguards, backup recovery and stale-result rejection. Browser journeys check actual download contents and redacted pixels, not only whether a button responds.

  • Bilingual interfaces, light/dark themes and narrow layouts.
  • No false-success backups after failed reads or corrupted data.
  • Checks for multi-window state and exported results.

03

What remains before release

Local automated checks do not replace real toolbar permissions, system clipboard behaviour or interoperability with external software. The next step is task-by-task real-world validation and feedback from target users. There are no revenue, profit or user-growth claims.
